Thank You - Technology..!!

When i wrote my first blog all i did was stared at my laptop screen just knowing i wanted to blog.!! Without having any idea about what i wanted to write about. I wanted to know  how a blogger feels just writing about anything and everything and sharing with the world their thoughts, ideas and their inhibitions.
This would have never been possible a couple of years ago Technology is one word i absolutely love.Our world has changed drastically and almost everything we want is just a click away.It could not have got easier than this.

So last night i was watching this movie called Wild Child which is about a rebellious American girl who is shipped off to UK for studying. I could some how relate to this movie since am in the UK myself for studies and the only question which popped up in my head was what made me leave my entire life, friends, family and an amazing job to come study in place full of strangers not knowing a single soul.How did i ever make this decision or rather what made me take this drastic step and it all came down to one thing TO FULFILL MY DREAM..!!..We all have dreams and wishes and it takes a lot of hardwork and sacrifices to make our dreams come true and i always take inspiration from this quote i read randomly stating  "My wish is not to mean everything to everyone but something to some one".
We all have tons and tons of dreams and wishes but they always come true when its not only about yourself that your thinking of.

So back to Technology before i left India i was not upset about leaving everything behind because there was a convenient way of keeping in touch with everyone.All i kept hearing before i left was 'we will Skype , we will keep in touch through Facebook all day long , get a Blackberry we can bbm each other throughout the day and bla bla bla.

Thats when i wonder would i ever have the guts to actually leave everything behind if i would not be able to keep in touch with all my people back there in India.Would i ever follow my dream then..??Just think about it for awhile...
All i would say is Hail Technology..!!

My first encounter with blogging..!!

So yeah this is the first time am blogging and since am studying Fashion Marketing and PR I think everyone in this field should try blogging its fun and since we are a group of creative people you can blog what ever U think and feel good about am sure it will be an inspiriation for some other indivisual.

I would say am NOT very well versed with social media but since am planning to learn i thought it will be a good incentive to start blogging .
I have always been fond of writing and  till recently i have about 24 diaries with each and every precious moment of my life penned down and i would encourage everyone to do such a thing.Which one of us wouldnt want to look back at our past and laugh about it or in your low times help you move on just  thinking that you have done even more silly things..!!

So back to a lil bit about my self my name is Alifiya and i am from India and am here in Nottingham,UK studying  MA in Fashion Marketing and Communication from Nottingham Trent University..Nottingham as a place is buzzing with life..a complete student city with more than 300 pubs in a radius of 3km..Who wouldnt love that..???...everyday in this city you see clubs having the whackiest theme parties and trust me we follow them religiously...just the other day my friend was walking in the main city center and she told me there were groups and groups of undergraduates moving about in ONLY their speedos and girls flaunting their bikins...hats off to them with the weather being less than 7 degress on that night...!!Since halloween is in 3 days am super excited too see the mayhem on the streets..am still contemplating on what to dress as a slutty nurse.. scary witch or a cute playboy bunny..and the list goes on..

Am hoping i dint do that bad for my first blog..i hope ul think the same too..!!and i promise to get better each time i blog.If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to let me know.
